How to make Chinese rice noodles with vegetables and soy
This recipe for Chinese rice noodles is a very easy dish that you can prepare using the ingredients you have in your refrigerator. In the case of this recipe, in addition to vegetables I put merey, well it is great.
I tell you: it occurred to me to make this dish improvising a bit with what I had at home. Generally the Chinese rice noodles are prepared with sprouts of soy, carrot, tofu, onion, peppers or some meat. For this recipe I used onions, bean sprouts, merey, chives, cilantro, and of course soy sauce.
If you want a more advanced recipe for rice noodles, I recommend the famous Singapore noodles, which are slightly spicy.
If you have a wok to make this recipe, excellent, if not, with a good large pan you can prepare it.
Recipe for rice noodles with vegetables
- 200 grams of rice noodles
- 1 medium onion
- 1 handful of bean sprouts
- 1 clove of garlic
- Light soy sauce
- Juice of 1/2 small lemon
- 1/4 cup of chicken broth
- Cayenne pepper flakes
- A splash of sesame oil
- One stalk of chives
- 1/2 cup of merey
- Fresh coriander leaves
- In a saucepan with water heat the rice noodles for 15 minutes or until that are al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Then, in a pan over medium heat, add the chopped onion in julienne strips, the bean sprouts and the chopped garlic clove very small.
- Add to this stir-fry the light soy sauce, the juice of the half lemon and the chicken broth. Add the sugar, salt and spicy flakes.
- After stirring a few minutes, mix this sauce with the rice noodles. Sauté on medium heat for a few minutes and serve on a plate.
- In another pan, with a drop of sesame oil dora the white part of the chopped chives on wheels. Then skip the merey until it turns brown (without letting it burn).
- Both the chives and the merey are going to be added to the rice noodles already served.
- To close, use the green part of the very small chopped chives and some fresh coriander leaves to decorate (and even more flavor) the dish.
This recipe, apart from delicious, is very healthy and easy to do. It's a different dish than what you usually cook and accepts all the variations that you crave.
Recipes with Chinese rice noodles
If you slightly alter the recipe that I explained earlier, you can prepare variations of these Chinese noodles.
Rice noodles with chicken: They are very delicious and are prepared very easily. Simply skip a piece of chicken breast, chopped into strips next to the onion and other vegetables, following the steps explained in this recipe.
Chinese rice noodles with prawns: You do exactly the same as with chicken. I recommend using fresh prawns, not frozen pouches.
Rice noodles with garlic and mushrooms: This is very delicious. In this case, sauté the mushrooms and the garlic in a separate pan and place it in the wok with all the other ingredients minutes before serving. You stir well and ready.
As you can see, the possibilities are limited to your creativity and the ingredients you have available. Simply use my recipe as a starting point and add what you want.
